Fabrizio Manganiello qualified as a lawyer in 1998 and was subsequently admitted to practice before the Italian Supreme Court of Cassation. He has extensive experience in providing in and out-of-court assistance to associations, entities and groups of different kinds, companies and private individuals in the areas of corporate criminal law (corporate, financial, economic, tax, and bankruptcy crimes), offences against Government Entities, environmental criminal law, criminal employment law, international criminal law and cybercrimes; crimes against property; personal data protection, anti-money laundering, press offences (press-related defamation), as well as corporate criminal liability (Italian Decree No. 231/2001). He has acted as Chairman of Supervisory Bodies under Italian Decree No. 231/2001 for various companies. He is often invited to speak as a panelist at seminars and conferences on topics related to corporate criminal law and corporate criminal liability.

He developed a high-level of expertise in criminal law issues about the specific requirements applying to banks and other financial institutions by participating, as a speaker, in conferences on money laundering and self-money laundering in relation to voluntary disclosure, bank usury and asset protection measures related to mortgage lending.

He has gained a specific expertise in devising and implementing organizational models and in conducting defensive investigations.

Furthermore, he has complemented his work and study of the said subjects by further studying and gaining in-depth knowledge on criminal regulations specifically applying to accidents and safety at work. He participated, as a speaker, in conferences and webinars on accident prevention, as well as crimes against vulnerable individuals, developing an interest in all the issues introduced by Law No. 69 of 2019 (so-called “Code Red”) and any related critical issues.

He is the author of a number of journal articles and book chapters concerning criminal law.
